During harvest, the HALL winemaking team works day and night to bring in the grapes when they're just right, and deliver them to our state-of-the-art winemaking facility in St. Helena, CA. From there, the grapes are sorted and delivered to our fermentation tanks. Get a glimpse of a typical harvest weekend around the winery.

HALL Wines Vineyard Director, Don Munk brings us this update from the Sacrashe Vineyard in Rutherford. It's been a relatively cool summer in the Napa Valley, with very few days reaching 100 degrees. Don shows us what's happning in the vineyards in the days leading up to Harvest; and gives some insight into a special technique used in our Sacrashe and Bergfeld vineyards to help create the best wine possible.

The Vines are in Bloom!

With all this warm weather we are in bloom in many of our vineyards and we are on track to begin harvesting our 2009 Sauvignon Blanc around September 1st!

Harvest Update, April 2009

It's Mid-Spring, and the vines are teeming with new blossoms. At this point in the season, you can actually start to see grape clusters beginning to form! HALL Wines Director of Vineyard Operations, Don Munk brings us this update from the vineyards.

It's one of the most exciting times of year in the Napa Valley. The vines at our HALL "Bergfeld" Estate vineyard are beginning to blossom and it's simply a magical sight. We are thrilled to share these photos with, and invite you to check back often, as we'll bring you even more pictures and video from the vineyards!
